Working together: the VS Group difference
We share your passion for making a difference
With plenty of alternatives around, why choose VS Group for your IT and Telecoms needs? Well, for a start, we’re specialists in telecoms and connectivity solutions. We’ve spent the last decade helping over 500 organisations adopt IT infrastructure that drives efficiency while reducing cost.
We really are committed to your cause. We choose suppliers and network operators with your needs in mind, so that we can give our customers the most relevant technology at the best possible price. On average, our solutions save operations 30% of their technology spend. That means more money for the causes you care about.
Our support lasts all the way from implementation to end of life too. We know the challenges you face and the solutions you need. We’re always on the end of a phone or email if you need us. As a specialist telecoms company, our values are based on openness, transparency and professionalism.
We support the sector in another way too. We’re passionate about charities and the good they do. Every month we donate to a different charity and we reserve a budget to contribute to wider campaigns, either through cash donations or donations of goods and services.
You don’t have to take our word for any of this. Our happy customers help tell the story, as do our awards. In fact, we’ve been named Best Telecommunications Provider to the Charity and Voluntary Sector for two years in a row.
ABOUT VS GROUP
Why VS Group?
We work closely in partnership with Forever Manchester, making a monthly donation of up to 1% of our monthly recurring revenues from all new customers that fall under our business division. Forever Manchester is the only charity that raises money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. They champion local people doing extraordinary things together. And when advice, encouragement and funding are needed, Forever Manchester is there to provide a hand up to support them.
Here are some of the projects that our partnership with Forever Manchester has helped to fund:
Become United is a new group, based in Rochdale, who offer a variety of support to BAMER individuals of all ages. They work with those from marginalised communities and currently run football sessions and a mother and child group for the community. They applied for funding to create a domestic violence pack to include details of the signs and how to get help/support.
Walkden Amateur Boxing Club aims to improve lives in the local community both physically and mentally through the sport of boxing. The group requested funding to run a nutrition course alongside their boxing classes for the children and young people who attend sessions in the school summer holidays.
Bury Rural Inequalities Forum offer representation for 6 rural villages in Bury, providing the communities with connections to other organisations and creating a community voice. The group was founded in 2018 to produce a walking route in the area and they would like to ensure the activity remains free and accessible to all online. They requested funding to pay for web storage and online costs to host the walking information.
Friends of Cleavley Community Forest Garden, based in Eccles, is a group of local residents that aim to maintain and support the development of their unique community resource and green space, Cleavley Forest Garden. They requested funding to purchase materials for four free community events that will take place throughout the year including an Autumn trail and a Christmas celebration.
We know how challenging running a business, charity or non-profit can be. With a decade of experience and over 500 customers, we’ve refined our approach to give you the best technology, at the best price, in the most straightforward way.
At VS Group we’re committed to being good corporate citizens – and to giving something back.
